HRI is a commercial producer of many cationic hyper-valent iodonium salts used as photoacid generators. Iodonium salts have uses in both the adhesive and electronics markets. The use of cationics as photoacid generators is gaining momentum in the printing ink and semiconductor lithography markets. These materials can be modified for our customer’s formulations to provide better solubility and more effective cure rates.
